Is it just me, no, I know it isn't just me.
Derpa (as he will be referred to throughout this rant) is a pompous ass. He thinks he knows the game better then anyone else, and how many tournaments exactly does he win? He says "Well my deck didn't win for X reason." Well lets think, maybe if we spent more time thinking with our heads, then talking with our asses we could get a little bit moar yugimonz done, eh, derpa?
Like I said in another post, I watched him play a little kid (derpa with his gadgets, little kid with his Crystal Beast) and had to shark the kid, to prevent a crystal beast swarm stomp. He 2-0'ed the kid, but the way I see it the kid (Who was probably Owen's age, but let's admit it, Owens not the worst player) could have won the game and it would have went to game 3.
Right after the game, Derpa gets all high and mighty about how he tromped all over an 8 year olds dreams of being the king of games. AND! then he starts telling the kid, and his parents how the kid is bad and his deck is mediocre and that he needs to learn basic rulings and a ton of bs, all the while, 2-3 times during the match, he asked me if the kid could use certain "send to graveyard" effects while banisher is on the field.
After giving the kid bad suggestions, which of course I corrected whilst still playing my game, he tells him to use pojo to get better at the game. He tells him the people at pojo will be helpful and give good deck advice. ARE YOU f**kING KIDDING ME? By this time my match with Paul had just ended and I give him some lip. I tell him people at Pojo are terrible and couldn't make his deck any better, they would make it worse.
Did I forget how he basically called out Nagatsu, bringing Nagatsu's parents into the arguement as he whines over a ruling, complaining how "I go to 6 other places and this ruling is ruled this way there." Everyone in the room basically Lulz about how completely immature his little temper tantrum was. To his credit he cooled off and pretty much apologized, which was basically rejected and he got smashed.
He has started coming to my other local besides A to Z and he thinks he is a god because the two times he went he got into the finals. Once I completely WRECKED his shit, I was running plants vs. his MACRO. How bad do you have to be to not win against plants with macro. Honestly, it is not hard. I didn't run any outs except mst and storm. I do not count snipe, cause if you know me, it is not an out. The other time he was running oppression gadgets, vs. my stores meta of Plants/glads/samurai and his oppressions and fossil dyna's end up losing to a terrible players gladiators, DA f**k?
I think what I am trying to say is, Derpa may be a semi ok player. I will even admit he has an ok deck. But if you almost never win, only frequently top a local where your deck is the anti meta, and you play more than your CHILD, you have no room to say your better then anyone else.
