GX as a whole

the reason I ask is because alot of people say its some retarded spin off which techniquely yes it is just as much as 5Ds is right now but for a spin off it actually had a decent story and plot for it and I personally enjoyed it. 5Ds I find personally hard to get into but thats another story.

Alright, lets see.

Set at a school, on an island, owned by Kaiba. Personally I doubt he'd set up anything of the sort, sure he has the money, but just what reason would he have?

The cast are retards, and there was too much random crap in the first 2 seasons of it, getting away from what little story GX had at that point. It's not until the 3rd season that we actually see some much needed character development for Judai (and they have to go to another dimension to bloody do it >.>), and then they go spoil it at the end by tying it all up by having Judai be the reincarnation of some King in another dimension. This would have been fine, if they'd have bothered to follow up on it on Season 4. Did they? No. Just finish up everyone's stories, kill the embodiment of Darkness, duel and lose to Yugi, series end. Makes you think, what was the point of GX, besides generating cash through the card game?

Tough question. Well, I enjoyed the dissucsiion we had ( Me, Cin, JP, Shriek, and two others who name escapes me). I meant he GX section was quite fun in YF. But the series it's self I guess I enjoyed it at parts really.

But yeh the first two seasons of GX were fail, season 3 was good but it had too many loose ends and Season 4 was too damn short. I enjoyed it because I like YGO that much but when compared to DM and 5D's it's fail.

Actually I started to really get into GX durring the 3rd season. I liked the more serious and dark plot lines. The prior seasons didn't have the exciting can't wait to see the next episode feel for me unless it had to do with the Marfujis or manjoyme.

yeah DPD covered the gist of it, I enjoyed the series, and just finished it yesterday (got lazy n forgot about it, reviving my Red-Eyes deck n connecting that w/ Fubuki i started watching it again a few days ago)

GX was a load of bullcrap and as far as I'm concerned, it took episodes 179-180 to get GX some attention. :/ I kept up with it until Judai became a friggen' girl thingy in S3.

I only watched when I was a dubbie and had no idea about subs or when my brother makes me cause he is downstairs when I am. xD

Only seen a lot of the first and second season to be honest and now I find it all boring, after hearing how bad it was I have to agree though I couldn't be bothered to watch the subbed or any more of the dubbed and it drives me insane to have to do so and I wonder why I'm even watching or even watched it.

I can only guess it's because now a days I am more accustomed to the teenager animes and shows, not one's for kids or about card games for that matter, only Yugioh there if I remember rightly. =P

Anyways, yes I think I probably enjoyed it when I was younger and bored with nothing else to watch or do in the mornings but I'm now a shamed of even this so no I didn't enjoy it after a while and it stopped airing, I moved on. This is much like what happened with Pokemon and Digimon with me though except I actually still like the older versions that I watched.

I found 5D's to be more entertaining and not so for kids though the dub version probably is and the duels are more entertaining so it gets my vote though again I don't watch it much cause I'm doing other things and don't get around to or because I'm lazy maybe. I don't know.

Yes, yes it is fail. Why would Yuugi give a kid like Judai his card and pass things onto him? Why would Seto make a dumb Yugioh academy? Doesn't make sense.
