Ok, the author of love hina, who's name escapes me at the moment, struck gold when he started Negima. I love this manga, it has a good plot line, action, comedy, romance, and best of all fanservice. If you haven't read it, which I highly suggest you do, the entire story goes like this. A 9 or 10 year old boy named Negi Springfield is a wizard. He graduated from the academy and must do some test thingy. He's also a boy genius. The assignment he recives is to teach at an all girl academy in japan, well to teach 8th grade. He gets there and the laughter begins. You gotta read it to know more. <3

Ken Akamatsu is his name, and he's a freaking genius... How can you not love how he screwed the editors who wanted a typical harem manga like Love Hina by slowing making into a proper shonen action series. By retaining the fanservice though, it's better for it. Asuna vs. Setsuna during the Mahora Budokai for example, that fight moves between fanservice (maids and bloomers ), awesome action, and exploring the backstory of a few characters at once. And if it had been just another harem series, the world would not have bore witness to the 10-chapter burst of awesome that was Negi's fight with Rakan .
