Episode 59 - The Lone Light: Savior Demon Dragon
JACK vs. Carly PREVIEW [Janime]:"JACK, wishing to break free of the spell of the Dark Signers, leaves the selection of his Trap card's effect to Carly. In all seriousness though, I bet Carly will lose in this episode. In 55, that episode had a somewhat similar title and Yusei won, didn't he? ;P Who knows? That same concept might work in 59. It might.
And if they plan on showing Yusei in this episode also, I DEMAND DADDY FUDOU AND YUSEI CONVERSATION. >:[

lol of course Sr. Jack the brave will win and free his lady loves heart before she turns to dust. Oh wait he grew up to be "King" Jack. XD Ya like I said in the other post I too am hoping for a bit of father son convo but seeing as the bright light flashed as if to take Yusei back right after he said thanks. I'm thinking the reunion is indefinatly postponed  |

I hope the focus a bit more on the duel and not zip through it like they did it the last episode.

I'm curious about this light business; if he's back in the real world, then I can't see how he can confrnt Divine who's in Aki's mind. There's no way he survived Carly's revenge, perhaps Daddy Fudo is leading him in that direction, I reall do want some Fudo talk ;P.
As for JACK, I want to see if he's going to pull together the full Birthmark like Yusei did in order to set the conditions to summon Savior Demon Dragon. And just what he'll say after the duel, he knows Carly loves him.

- I wasn't as moved by this epi as I thought I would be. Probably because it was more or less the same as the Kiryu vs Yusei duel: Meet up. Start Dueling. Go through flashbacks/visions. Bad Guy summons Earthbound God. Good Guy summons new Dragon. Good Guy wins. Emotional Scene at the End. So both duels were too similar for me.
- Was that enough of a conversation between the Fudo's Natusmi? All I remember is Yusei saying 'Dad' a lot ;P
- /Loved how Carly fell backwards off her D-Wheel.

Overall the epi was good, better than 57 but like I said the outcome was too similar to the previous duel for me. I hope the next duel is different seeing as Misty despises Aki instead of having a previous relationship with her.

She's just epic like that, Winlay. ;P And . . . The conversation between Yusei and Daddy Fudou wasn't enough for me. ;P My prediction was better. But, going by the writer's standards, I guess that's the only thing I'll get as of the Fudou reunion. Alright. Thoughts on the episode: -Carly and JACK situation before Carly became completely brainwashed and even afterwards. Does that ring a bell for anyone? -WTH is with Carly's cards in that one vision? We know Carly x JACK is basically canon now. Don't shove it in our faces, writers. ;P -Ending to the episode. Depressing. And I don't even like Carly x JACK. xP;;; -55 and 59. To think it had been only four episodes ago when the full Dragon birthmark appeared. ;P -Yusei Fudou = Jesus in Hell. I'm serious. He RAN on water. ;P If that's not enough proof for you, I don't know what is. -Yusei and Daddy Fudou conversation. <3 And I found it cute that Yusei kept calling for his dad. -YUSEI'S NOT IN HELL ANYMORE.  Better than 58 by far. On both accounts. And animation screwed up Aki in the preview. Big time. Hopefully, animation for the actual episode is much better. xP - |

best episode of anything ive ever seen ever in my life.
so. emotional. so. beautiful. i LOVE this episode. even if it made me cry.
seriously.
obviously im biased because i loved both characters.... but yeah. thas my opinion and i cant wait for the HQ Softsub.

Linx wasn't the only one crying. The JackX Carly thing is just so cute. Who would have thought Mr. ego "the king" would fall so deeply for the stuttering clumbsy reporter. The end were she asked for her glasses so she could take a final look at him and the hug awwweeee
Ok onto happier things like Daddy Fudo king of the underworld. Think if you were an orphan meeting your parent for the first time since they died when you were a baby. I think Yusei needed a hug. Sadly Dad kept backing up, probably decided that if he did touch Yusei he wouldn't be able to send his son back.

This epi was a lot better with subs. Now that I know all of what they're saying I enjoyed it more and even though I still think its a bit similar to the Previous duel its the subtle differences that make it a good epi.
When did this 'Seal all the towers before midnight or the King of the Underworld will be Revived' come into this? And also (I'm probably gonna sound like an idiot again) but has JACK always had 'A' earrings? ;P

A-Earrings WITH a matching necklace, Winley. anyway, Rudger said it in his duel with Yuusei.
but yeah, what really got me was JACK willing to KILL HIMSELF so Carly wouldnt die alone. XD so freaking adorable and sad.
side note: you guys do realize theres a chance Kiryu and Carly will be revived right? the Savior Dragons only appear when the Signer wants to SAVE their opponent. Messias Draconis, the name PLAINLY says it. its not far-fetched a theory, just unlikely.

No linx it had crossed my mind with the Savior dragon thing. It's a hope but I'm not sure if it was more of a save their soul from the torment of being a DS since they are physically dead or if it was a resurection type of save.
