60- Sad Story: Sorrowful Memories

For me, the duel was one big yawn, just look at how easily Misty overpowered Aki until Divine showed up. Misty's "sad story" may have been sad by nature, but the way they carried out presenting it to Aki didn't really help. I'm actually surprised that Tobi knew Aki before the incident.

On the other end, Divine saving Yusei only to trap him with Mikage was a bit unexpected; Psycho Sword to the stomach manoeuvre was sheer brillance on Divine's part. As tough as Yusei is, he's no match for Divine's psychic power. Mikage calling for JACK and no-one else just made me laugh.

Twinnies barely showed at all, then again, it's more than Crow's disappearence, I just assumed he went back to check on the kids Tykeshipping, eh Natsumi?. If you ask me, Divine should have let Aki skewer herself on that shard and not shown his skinning, JACK to beat the living shit out of him... if only.

I love Ushio's reaction to Mikage's ID. USHIO TO THE RESCUE~! I know what he wants to see, on top of why Yusei was so calm - apart from that's just him.

More than likely, Merc. Another reason why I didn't like this episode: It lacked Crow. ;P

lolmirrors. I didn't catch the symbolism then, but I do now. ;P Still, it's an amusing way to duel, unless all the mirrors are destroyed by Black Rose Dragon.

It's a natural thing for someone to break down when they lose a love one. I'd go after the idiot that killed someone that I cared about too. So what Misty did was just plain human.
But I didn't feel sorry for Aki at all when she realized what she did that made Misty so upset. She was careless in her actions and she didn't think for herself. I say she deserves whatever bad happens to her.

And what the frazzlenuts @ Mikage calling for JACK? o.o That sent a chill down my spine for some reason.
And Rena. THAT PICTURE SCARES ME. ;P Silly, artists are silly.

The mirrors symbolism is easy to notice considering everything we know about Aki and her history. And on the 'careless' front, Aki looked like she was enjoying Yusei's pain in the Fortune Cup. Yeah, because he was a Signer and 'yada yada'. But she didn't exactly seem reluctant in the Daimon Area, who says sheidn't feel the same back then just to a lesser degree? People had hurt her and she had the power to hurt them; only now she's realized that the chain can continue on.

Tobi was a psychic? WUT A TWIIIST! though it does kinda support my AND aki's (at least what she thought originally) "he was killed by overzealous testing" theory... or maybe they want us to THINK that but he WAS killed by Aki. damn these writers!
