Episode 61: At the End of the Truth
Aki vs Misty R2 Summary: Divine confronts Aki during her duel with Misty and mind controls her and Aki successfully summoned Black Rose Dragon. To stop this, Yusei confronts him and is aware of the truth in the middle of the battle.Preview [PrismWeapon's subs] Aki: If anyone stands in my way, I'll strike them down!

Here's more of my randomness. All of the "important" DS were taken down in 2 eps. But for some reson the less devloped DS that nobody cared much about took 3 eps to take out. I can kinda see why for the Rua/Ruka vs. Demark ep because much of it revolved around Rua traveling the Minus world trying to help the people and free Ancient Fairy Dragon. The Bommer thing was very random even though we all know I think Boomer is cool and Crow double so. On track with this ep. its opviously going to end this ep. making it 2 eps long like the rest of the DS with a backstory demise.
Also on that line I took a closer look at the screancaps. In one Misty's mark were glowing so it looks like sometime durring the duel she has a change of heart and eventually gets possessed further like Bommer and Carly.
The street fight between Yusei and Deivine looks interesting. Maybe we will get a bit more on why Divine is such a d08ch. Sadly I agree with you guys I think the rat will get away to torment anouther day.

Well, as far as important Dark Signers go, I actually believe it took four episodes to get rid of Rudger. Because we can't count out 45 + 46. And Yusei was so close to defeating him. And then that prick showed up . . .
And Kiryu took longer too. It took five episodes before Kiryu was defeated.
But, Rudger and Kiryu were like the main cheeses of the Dark Signers and it took the longest to take them down. Whereas Carly and Misty (And we all know this will happen) was taken down in two episodes. And although Demak was taken down in four episodes (Yay for epic Twinnies teamwork), it wouldn't have taken that long if it weren't for Ruka traveling into the Duel Monsters world.
But like I said, that's speaking in exactly how many episodes it took to take them down. And I didn't count the episodes in between the first Kiryu/Yusei duel and the second and the first Rudger/Yusei duel and the second. Because I'm lazy like that. ;P

I actually didn't count the pre duels. I was just counting the "war is on" duels. the first Kiryu/yusei duel was more of a taste my wraith the last was the "I'm comming for your a*&". Though yes your right the previous Ruddger match would have been part of the "war" though at that time he was dueling using Rally. Ok ok back to Misty and Aki. It's so close for the ep to come out. For having a facked up YouTube, this episode was sure worth the wait. - Poor Tobi. D: And then at that scene, another flashback ran through my mind. Anyone care to guess which one? - ANIMATION ERROR TIME. No, seriously. Aki's eyes are all normal at one point, and the next, they're possessed again. - Common sense lacks in this episode, but whatever. -lol @ Mikage calling for JACK. lol @ Ushio getting pissed. lol @ that being more of an incentive to save Yusei and Mikage. xP - Divine's a prick. A big prick with mud on top. - From the point Yusei was hanging from that ledge onwards was full of lulz. (Not that the Ushio rescuing Yusei and Mikage wasn't funny.) To start, there's a communicator in people's duel disks? I should've known that from the TS flashbacks. And Yusei using it to record what Divine said and having Misty listen to it was just . . . so hilarious. -JIBAKUSHIN PANCAKE DAY.  [AKA Divine getting eaten by Ccarayhua] I bet Wiraquchasca was jealous. ;P -Twinnies reactions was funny, yet adorable. Poor Ruka. She didn't want to see a live human getting eaten. And Rua's eyes was just so . . . xD -Not too sure about the Misty being possessed towards the end. And not too sure about after the duel either. xP -PREVIEW IS SO EPIC. AND CROW GETS AN EPIC ROLE FINALLY. Much better than episode 60. ;P Now, time to kick Rex's butt hard. |

- LOL at Yusei having a communicator type thing in his Duel Disk
- Methinks Ushio likes Mikage, wonder where I got that from ;P
- I felt that everyone wanted this duel out of the way so we could get onto the final showdown.
- LINXY GOT HER FLAMING LINES ;P
- Preview = Epic = Riding Duels = Yusei AND JACK AND Crow. WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER? =DDD
On a serious note: This epi made me realize how far we are into 5D's now and how fast its gone by. Seeing as I remember everyone being all hyped up for when Crow came into the series (and this was half way through where we are now D:), anyone else realized this?

1. Divine was probably brought back when Misty died anyway. Still DIE AGAIN AND AGAIN YOU BASTARD!!!!
2. ... Exactly as we thought about tobi.
3. Aki didnt make it in time just as i'd hoped!
4. DAMNIT REX WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MEET MY PREDICTION?! UGH. i was hoping i was wrong about that stupid bird being an earthbound god. but no. it IS. still, looks like an epic finale on the way. even if im slightly disappointed that so far it looks like all my predictions were right! please let this preview be a mindf**k.
(of course i make like a billion predictions every episode so theyre bound to be true most of the time... still i like it when they come outta left field at me with soemthing i coulda never seen.)

YUSEI IN EPI 8? *calms down* - Truth behind Tobi's death was surprising, also answers those on Janime that were moaning that Tobi's body was so together after the previous story of his death. - Lol, poor Ushio. No matter how hard he tries, Mikage’s yelling for JACK even when he’s there. - Am I the only one who half-expected Yusei’s Duel Disk to blow up in his face for the sake of logic? ;P - Aki as she was looked pretty cool. She should have kept her hair down or as it was when she met Divine. - Lolsmall geoglyph. And half the time, those flames looked so freaking short. - To be honest, as much as I hate Divine, I love his badass-ness, he’s so ruthless :3. - Lol, Ccarayhua eating Divine. Loved the Twinnies then; Rua looked like he crapped himself and Ruka couldn’t even watch. Poor kids~ - Only Yusei would add such handy uses to his Duel Disk. That’s our lil’ son-of-a-professor. - Honestly, I was surprised that Misty ended up being controlled, though finding out she heard the truth… yeah. - When the hell did Aki sort out her hair as Misty went flying? Shee. - Condor mark in the sky, eeep~ Epic plot twist that follows the Signers’ failing. - Preview is epic, Rex finally becoming the Mekai no Oh~ Now for the climax~ . Yay for the Team Satisfaction boys fighting together again~ |

Besides, you think they'd allow Yusei's duel disk to blow up in his face in the first place? xP So according to the preview, Wiraquchasca is a bird-like Earthbound God . . . only fancier looking. A relative to Aslla Piscu, maybe? And Rex is on steroids in the preview. And if you pay attention to the preview, you can see a resemblence of Rudger in him also. Brothers. What can I say? Maybe Yusei fixed it up on the way, either that or I'd nurse him back to normal ;3. And Wiraquchasca is the Condor, the preview says. I'm surprised by the foreshadowing we've missed for so long ;P. And I saw that resemblance, Natsumi would easily pick that up~ ;P. Elsewhere, am I the only one surprised that Divine - both directly and indirectly - created both female Dark Signers? |
