Finally. The 65 thread. ;P;;;
TBH, the only thing exciting I find so far about this episode is the new opening and ending theme. The summary for 65 (Not to mention the summaries for a lot of the upcoming S3 episodes) sounds like a bad fanfic. Hopefully, the writers will be nice people and prove me wrong. But I doubt it.

Don't get me started on the summaries for S3 . To me it shows that all of the so called character development with Jack was pointless. That's all I'm gonna say right now so as to not spoil for anyone who hasn't read up yet. I'm kinda interested to see what daily life is going look like especially for the newly freed people of the Satellite. Now that they have more options than running the factory.

If that's all you're going to say, I'll keep my mouth shut also so I won't spoil anything. ;P I'm interested to see the daily lives of the kiddies Crow cares so much about. They're no older than he is and they're, no doubt, living much better lives.

I'll add a bit more. I'm getting a bit frusterated by the huge plot holes the writters have been leaving. Its only been 6 months since the defeat of Goodwin and the bridge being finished and magically from the screanshots Satellite is suddenly just as nice as the city. Plus the preview summary makes it seem like poof all of the discrimination is just gone. Come on 17 years of hate isn't going to just be gone. Ok I know its Yugioh that happens all the time. The other thing I wasn't going to talk about was what the summaries had to say about Jack and the Mikage, Jack, Ushio triangle. Now there is a cannon love story that I just can't wrap my mind around

That's why fanfiction exists. ;P I'm writing a three-shot that shows how Daedalus Bridge got to be completed and Satellite and Neo-Domino got over their discriminations of each other and shat like that. Because the writers left too many plot holes unfilled and too many questions unanswered. Anyway, 65 TODAY. 83 New OP, New ED, and epic Crow in a new gold shirt.

I don't know, I'm not to fond on this new OP. I'm just not feeling the song. The ending song is alright it's not bad but not totally great.

Compared to the second OP it was harder to get into the song but personally it was alright and better than the first OP.

. . . 5D's took the wrong turn with S3 so far, even if it's only the first episode. I mean, really wrong turn. I don't think there's ever been an episode prior to this one that I'd wish that it would hurry up and end already.
-OP/ED. I applaud you if you like both or one of them. Because I sure don't. =/ They don't really sound like "Yuugiou 5D's", if you know what I mean. And the animation . . . awful. In fact, it's "Oh my God!" awful. I mean, you can see it for yourself. JACK doesn't even look intelligent in either. /not joking
-Alright. To the actual episode. The aliens have come to freak out Jaegar. ;P If these guys have something to do with Yliaster, S3 just might be saved . . . I sure hope they do.
-Olol @ JACK/Crow quarrel. See? Miscommunication causes a bunch of problems for everybody. ;P Even though that was so off-character for the both of them, I still found it funny somewhat.
-Wow. They blew a hole and everyone was all "WTF" when it happened.
-WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MARTHA, LADY? D8< And am I the only one who shivered when she said Yusei's name like that? o.o;;;;
-BL-BL-BL-BL-BL-BLACKBIRD DELIVERY?!?!?!?!?! D8 YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! Surely there are more sane ways to make money, Crow. ;P
-And speaking of Blackbird Delivery *Shivers at name*, that 'blackbird' on Crow's jacket looks like a chicken on steroids. A black chicken on steroids.
-"Atlus-sama?!" lolpoor Ushio. To think he was such an arse back in S1. Now's he's actually enjoyable to see. ;P /blames Mikage
-Wow. Did Mikage go to a hair salon or something? I actually like her hair style for once. ;P
-USHIO D8 And . . . operation? ;-;
-lolJACK and Crow's second quarrel. I wonder how many of those Yusei has to hear before he gets tired of it.
-YUSEI HAS HANDS. xP Seriously. The last time we've seen him without his gloves was . . . 24 episodes ago. xD
-Okay. So how did Crow change clothes so fast? o.o
-At first, when Ghost was dueling Ushio, I wondered why they'd announce "Speed World, Set On!" to where everyone can hear. And then, when the Ghost vs Yusei match started, I remembered that Daedalus Bridge existed and there were cars driving on it. xP That's going to have to take some getting used to.
-Freaky, Ghost dude is freaky.
-For once, the preview for 66 didn't excite me one bit.
To put it in a mild way, let the bad fanfiction season began. ;P

They're sticking to the freakin' plot entirely. This was a really good episode considering how sucky it LOOKED like it would be. It's setting up a buttload of plotlines, Jose and his fellow Yliaster members, the Infinity symbol and it's relevance, the giant Ka Tablet Jose had with him, the build-up to the World Championship, the links between Ghost and Duel Academy, and need I remind you of a long forgotten plot device called New Momentum. I'm interested to see how the situation plays out with Jose and co. as leaders of Domino.
Provided they tone back Crow's Canon Sue levels (which, from the admittedly sweet-ass OP/END, isn't likely) this season could exceed the last, but then maybe I'm being hopeful.
Also, children, what the hell. I preached and preached and preached and preached until my fingers were bone marrow alone on YF about not trusting Yugiwiki.. so what did you guys do for S3's previews.. trust Yugiwiki. Was EVERYTHING I said on YF ignored entirely?
Additionally, I can't be the only one who hopes we get something more than a new break screen to celebrate Yuugiou's 10th birthday (not counting Series 0 which was done by an entirely different studio, voice cast, aired on a different channel, and was overall, pretty lousy all things considered), and what's more the 500th episode will be 5D's 96, so I can't help but wonder. What do we get for loyal viewing?

? sorry dude with the hypo name. Since you obv changed your name from YF I have no idea who you are. I have some clues but I'm not the type to just assume when it comes to real life or at least real people. the previews I've seen came from Janime not yugiohwiki so I'm not sure where you're comming from with that.
Ok back to the ep. Lol the thief is using his super fast skills as a delivery boy. I agree chibi crow I wish they could have found him a differant job besides delivery boy.
Who the heck is the weird old school lady? Bring Martha and the kids back.
I lol at how Ushio started out the show as a "bad guy" and was constantly tring to get Yusei and now they all are buddies to the point of Crow getting upset when he gets hurt. Ushio comes into the hospital covered in bandages and in extream pain. What does the gang do. Stop the paramedics and ask him what happened. Guys in pain and they want details. XD

The guys we saw ARE FROM YLIASTER. the high ups.
i love the op/ed. the laid back intro to things was done OOC-ish on purpose. cuz the drama is gonna get heavy so were gettin peace timeses....
THE PREVIEWS BEYOND 67 WERE NOT CONFIRMED. THEYRE CIRCULATED BUT THIS EPISODE BASICALLY CONFIRMS THAT BEYOND THAT POINT THERE IS A LEVEL OF IMPOSSIBILITY.
stop judging things based off perceptions influenced from previews. ignore previews.
i didnt see a thing wrong with this episode.
this ep was completely on-topic and focused. introducing A MYRIAD of plot points.
Yliaster World Championships Duel Academia Ghost Neo Domino's New Leader(s) Satellite Relations
but everyone is entitled to their own opinion... hypocriticougar voiced my thoughts precisely.
plus, given the technology... its very plausable for the bridge to be done and Satellite partially recovered. Rex had STARTED the City-side bridge so he likely had plans already written up though he abandoned them when he realized (through Yliaster prolly) that Satellite would be the epicenter of the D*Signer incident.
they simply reopened a project. as for the discrimination... we have seen no direct neo domino/satellite interaction yet... Satellite is prolly still seen as trash. the people there prolly STILL spend their days garbage-sorting. the new roads just give them greater opportunities.

Like I did waaaaay back 40 weeks ago on YF, I gave a go at reading the subtitle track for the OP/END and this is what I came up with
Freedom by La-Vie
Kizuzuki sono tabi ni yasashiku naneru Tachi agaru soshite kimi ha tsuyosa wo shiru Furimukasu hashite yuku nosa Gako mo mirai mo ima ni tsunagateru Osoreru koto nantenai sa Nandodemo iu yo kimi wa hitori janai Mune ni himeta atsui omoi ha Mugen no mirai he to kaketeyuku Ugoki hajimeta yume ha genkai sae koete Michibiku darou mabayu hikari no sasu basho he
The song itself is a bit… angsty but hopeful. Line 4, if I’m not translating ‘Gako’ right (I’m hopeless with kanji so it’s hard to be sure) is quite strange as it would read “School and the future are connected” or something like that. The chorus picks up the mood a bit, talking about ‘Racing towards the infinite future with the hot emotions kept in our hearts’ and ‘overcoming limits’ and what-not.
Ozone by Vistlip
Amano ga waukafusenohikuioka Miwatasuke shiki ha souzou to chigau Ano koro to kurabe mae ni susumeta Kotae wa NO janai dakedo tarinai Ijiwaro naka miga bokura tametsunda Kuuseki woumete tsuginoe SUTEJIHE mukaou “Donna kankei?” Nante kika watara Tomodachiijou kana…sore mo sukoshi chigau ka Kizuna to iu kotoba ga fukisawashii Kenkashiainagara Wakachiainagara “Nee ima doi?” “Chikiyuen naka” Echiyuehiueshi janai kara OZON yori shitanaramondainai “Wakateru, suguiku” Asa made sawagitai no deshoe Taisetsunai basho de
All katakana words are in capitals. The 3 that occur are “No” on line 4, “Stage” on Line 6, and “Ozone” on Line 13
The only line I can translate completely is line 4 which basically means “The answer isn’t no but that‘s not enough”. It’s actually a pretty upbeat song. It talks about an ‘unimportant place’ in the final line, which kind of threw me, given how Neo-Domino and Satellite is normally presented.
Note for both: When ‘ha’ follows the topic of a sentence, it’s pronounced ‘wa’. E.g in Line 2 of Ozone, the line would be said as ‘Miwatasuke shiki WA souzou to chigau’ but is written as ‘Miwatasuke shiki HA souzou to chigau’
