I didn't do anything for July 4th for once . . .
ANYWAY,
What Ushio said to Yusei about Synchro monsters must have not stuck in Yusei's mind, given that Ushio said "You can't use Synchro monsters against a ghost." or something along those lines. Unless Yusei has something else planned with Stardust in mind . . .
I wasn't exactly pleased with 65. (Except for the silly JACK/Crow argument and Yusei finally having hands after 20+ episodes) Maybe 66 will be the miracle episode to change my mind about S3. Then again, I might wind up saying the same thing for each episode of S3 that airs until I find it decent.
We'll just have to see . . .

sounds more like Yusei figures out WHY he shouldnt use Synchro, then lures Ghost into a trap by using Synchro.
and no offense, but isnt it a bit early to judge the entire season? better to judge by Subplot Arc. but i know what youre saying, either way.

Sounds like a good enough guess from what we know Linx. Just to clear some things. I think I confused people with my dis satisfaction so far. Since this is 6 months after the DS war I think a lot has kinda been left hanging. such as Jack and Carly had that huge I love you bit and now she isn't even in the OP. Also last we saw of Himuro and Yunagi (sorry sp) was that they were camped out at the twins place. Speaking of the twins in the OP it looks like they are going to regular school now where I thought they stated in one of their first eps that they were home taught. After Rally's sacrifice it seemed like he was going to be made somewhat of a regular character or that that group had a bigger purpose. In the priview of 66 we see Yusei using Rally's one shot booster but I don't think Rally is in the picure anymore. And what about Crow and his kids; so far it looks like now he spends all of his time with Yusei and Jack or on deliveries. I had kinda hoped to see him go back to the nest and thank them for lending him strengh in his duel with Bomer. Ok short way of saying it. It looks right now like Yusei, Jack, and Crow got back together (as friends  ) and as for everyone else it was kinda screw you guys we're a team. Keep in mind this is just my opinion from what I know so far. As far as I know maybe later in the arch all of this will change or maybe not. |

You're right, Linx. It is too early to judge an entire season based on a couple of summaries that could probably change in due time. (It could happen.) But, 65 did have it's off-points and I'm not really too keen on the OP or ED either. They just don't sound or look like the 5D's I'm used to. Maybe I'll get used to the songs themselves in due time, but it's only been one episode. That might take a while.
A lot of questions were left unanswered though. And we don't know if Neo-Domino or Satellite are over their discriminations yet, even if Daedalus Bridge is complete and Satellite looks much better than it was before.
But, I doubt many of our questions will be answered.
Though, I do have strong confidence that Ghost and those others that came to Earth (Forget what they were called) have something to do with Yliaster/the Signer aspect of 5D's.

its true that many characters are missing as of yet but i believe its for a reason. 6 months having passed means that alot happened to each and every one of them. they'll likely be slowly introduced.
also, Carly IS in the OP. Next to JACK. But its a brief frame.
more than likely, these OP/EDs are temporary because the last season's OP/ED gave away too much. they wanna keep us in suspense. much like how they halved the running time of the End Previews so they could mindf**k us.

Very slowly. And yeah. I finally saw Carly in the OP, though I almost missed that shot yet again. And, I don't have links for the episode. So I rather you not read this post unless you've seen 66.
So apparently, I knew it wouldn't take me long to respect S3. Thanks a lot, Signer aspect of 5D's.
- So Ghost turned out to be a robot, from all the electricity sparks flying around. So, if you're like Ghost and you lose a duel, you fall to your death? o.o Interesting.
-SAVIOR STAR DRAGON . . . yet again. And it's only been two episodes since it's last appearance.
-Right. So Yusei remembers what Ushio told him about Synchro monsters AFTER that monster of Ghost's brought it to it's side of the field. I have yet to figure out why it took him so long to remember . . .
-"Aki-oneechan"? I knew it was only a matter of time.
-YES. THE SIGNER ASPECT LIVES.
- . . . Geez. I still can't get used to Crow being a Signer yet. I was half-expecting to see Rua with the Tail Mark again.
- I fear that Faithshipping was implied in this episode. I have a strong feeling about it.
- WTF @ Preview.
Right . . . That's pretty much it until subs come out.
*Kicks self for judging S3 so quickly*

- Rua's called Aki, Aki-oneechan, before Natsumi
- HOW FAST DID USHIO RECOVER?? o.o
- Methinks Rua and Ruka are gonna be for Comic-relief unless theres some significance in them going to Duel Acadamia
- Um, Yusei wins, New Threat, nothing much else really. Preview looks meh. IMO i probably could guess exactly what happens next epi.

And, it's Yuugiou, Winlay. Recovery is swift. ;P It's like when Yusei started walking around less than a day after surgery. Even if Ushio's wounds were more severe.

The twins started calling Aki Onichan shortly after her second duel with Yusei prior to them all going to the official DS war.
I loled too at how good Ushio looked considering it was only a short time after he had been rushed in for surgery covered in bandages
The robots should be interesting. I liked how shocked Ushio looked that Yusei no worries got the CPU out of their fancy new dueling prototypes.

They didn't come from space, only the ka tablet did. They just arrived at the scene hella fast.
