Well I want to know what the diference in the cards are.
Like raigeki break and dark world lightning, they both have to discard one card from hand.So how come the effect of the dark worlds are not activated when you use raigeki break.

This is true because cards such as Raigeki Break(where: 1. the discard happens first. and 2. when you are the only one discarding cards) are considered costs. These costs are technically paid BEFORE the card is even flipped face up. The easiest way to think about it is: A cost is not part of a card's effect and cannot be negated unless it is specifically written that it can on a card. e.g. if you activate Raigeki Break, you must discard a card even if Royal decree is on the field). Basically when you discard as a COST, you do the discard BEFORE you offer your opponent a chance to chain, while a discard for an effect won't happen until a chain is resolving. Clear enough now?

exactly.
An easy way to determine card effects and costs is like this:
Raigeki Break: Discard 1 card from your hand. Destroy 1 card on the field. ^ cost comes before effect.
Dark World Lightning: Destroy 1 face down card on the field. Discard 1 card from your hand. ^ effect resolves, then you discard, making it an additional part of the card's effect and isn't required to activate the card in the first place.
Dragged Down Into the Grave: You and your opponent reveal hands, then each of you choose one card from the opponents hand and discard it, then both players draw a card. ^ it's not required to activate the card that either of you discard, this allows dark world to activate.
